FAQ

1. What does a bookkeeper actually do?

A bookkeeper records and organizes all of your financial transactions, keeps your accounts up to date, and prepares monthly reports so you always know where your money is going. This keeps your business organized, tax-ready, and financially healthy.

2. Do I need bookkeeping if I'm a small or new business?

Yes. Even small businesses benefit from clean, updated books. Proper bookkeeping prevents mistakes, avoids IRS issues, and helps you make smarter decisions about spending, pricing and growth.

3. What bookkeeping software do you use?

I use QuickBooks Online, the most trusted platform in the industry. You will have your own account and you can securely add me as your bookkeeper.

4. Are my financial records kept private?

Yes. Your information is kept strictly confidential. Every document and transaction you share stays protected and is only used to manage your books.

5. What do I need to get started?

All you need is:

• A QuickBooks Online subscription

• Access to your bank and credit card statements

• Any receipts or invoices relevant to your business

I will walk you through the onboarding step-by-step

6. Do you offer tax services?

I do not prepare taxes, but I make sure your books are clean and ready for your tax professional. I can also work directly with your CPA if needed

7. How often will my books be updated?

Your books are updated monthly, with clean, simple reports delivered at the end of each cycle. If you need more frequent updates, we can discuss a custom plan.

8. Can we meet or have a call if I have questions?

Yes. I offer optional advisory calls if you want help understanding your numbers or want a deeper review of your financial reports.
